INGREDIENTS

  • 1 KABOCHA PUMPKIN
  • 1 CUP SUGAR
  • 2 TABLESPOONS MOLASSES
  • SALT TO TASTE

PREPARATION

Rinse kabocha carefully and roast in one piece in preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, until tender – be sure it doesn’t overcook. Slice it lengthwise, discard the seeds and season with salt. Make a caramel with sugar, ½ cup of water and molasses. Combine the pumpkin and toss it in the caramel.
