INGREDIENTS

  • 1 KG OF DESALTED JERKED BEEF
  • 6 TABLESPOONS OF CLARIFIED BUTTER
  • 2 RED ONIONS, CUT INTO STRIPS

PREPARATION

Cover the jerked beef with water and cook for 2 hours, or until tender – it should reduce to about half. Cut into thick strips and brown all sides using clarified butter. Put in the onions and braise them, along with the meat, until translucent. Serve at once.
