Green Weakfish

Cynoscion virescens

Similarly to other fish in the genus Cynoscion swimming the coast of Brazil from North to Southeast, green weakfish has white, tender, and delicate flesh. Some argue this is the tastiest among weakfish. It is sold with or without skin, whole or cut into large fillets. It can be prepared in the oven, or pan fried with a little oil.
