Scomberomorus brasiliensis

A relative of tuna, this mackerel has white, fat, delicate meat that is good to be griddled, roasted or chargrilled. It can be found year round in fish markets all over the Brazilian coast, but it is at its best in the colder months in Brazil, from May to August.
