Star Fruit

Sometimes sweeter, sometimes sourer, the fruit has a beautiful star shape when cut into slices and, therefore, it is used both for its flavor and to decorate dishes. The juicy pulp is featured in caipirinhas, jams, juices and compotes. In savory dishes, it goes well with fish and pork, sauces, chutneys, and salads.
