Açaí

Euterpe olearacea Mart.

Fruit native to the Amazon rainforest with unique flavor and packed with nourishing properties: antioxidants, anthocyanins, vitamin E, minerals and fiber. It is the staple food for many riverside communities in Brazil, where it is consumed in the form of a smooth cream served with fresh fish of the day and manioc flour.
