INGREDIENTS

  • 6 CHICKEN THIGHS
  • 1 ONION, DICED
  • 3 GARLIC CLOVES, CRUSHED
  • ½ CARROT, DICED
  • 2 CELERY STALKS, DICED
  • ½ TEACUP OF SMOKED BACON, CHOPPED
  • 3 CANS OF LAGER BEER
  • SALT AND BLACK PEPPER TO TASTE

PREPARATION

Separate the thighs from the drumsticks and place them in a bowl. Combine all the other ingredients and allow to marinate for at least 4 hours. Transfer the meat, vegetables, bacon, and a bit of beer to a baking dish. Cover with aluminium foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 1 hour. Remove the aluminium foil and allow to brown a bit. Serve at once.
