Giant False Coquina

This is another bivalve mollusk appreciated on the coast of the Northeast and in some parts of the Southeast regions, such as in Maranhão, Bahia and Rio de Janeiro. Two popular recipes are Arroz de tarioba (rice with giant false coquina) and Mariscada (shellfish stew).
