INGREDIENTS

  • 1 GREEN MARADOL PAPAYA (1 KG)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS BAKING SODA 
  • 2 CUPS SUGAR

PREPARATION

Peel papayas and cut into cubes or thin slices, vertically – or grate the pulp. Bring it to a boil with water and baking soda and set aside overnight. Make a syrup with sugar and 2 cups of water. When sugar dissolves, add papaya and cook until tender. Allow to cool to serve.
