Loligo plei e L. sanpaulensis
Cut into rings, breaded and deep fried, squid (or calamari) becomes Lula à dorée, a snack traditionally served on all beaches across the Brazilian coast: great to be savored by the sea, drizzled with some freshly squeezed lime. Cut open lengthwise, squid can be grilled or cooked and added to salads. Because of its tubular shape, it may also be stuffed and baked.
